Homestreet Bank's Objection to the Fees of Kevin Padrick, Obsidian Finance Group. And the Connections of Judge Marco Hernandez, Ron Wyden, Gordon Smith, and Perkins Coie.
Kevin Padrick, Obsidian Finance Group took advantage of Cascadia Project LLC, the Debtor.
He was allegedly hired to help them, give them restructuring advise, just as with the Summit Principals, and instead, he seemed to work a deal to buy their assets for MASSIVE amounts less then they were worth, just as he attempted to do in the Longview Fibre Deal (Click Here ) and they wanted nothing to do with it.
Also note with Longview Fibre you see Senator Gordon Smith giving Timber Valuations, as you look deep into the documents. The same Gordon Smith that got Judge Marco Hernandez into his Position as a Federal Judge, AFTER Obsidian V. Cox was filed. Ancer Haggerty was my first Judge, and Rumor has it that Ancer Haggerty is deeply connected to Judge Randall Dunn whom I was and am exposing with his actions in the Summit 1031 Bankruptcy.
More on Longview Fibre, where Obsidian Finance tried to do the same thing, buy a company in distress for far less then it was worth, and with the seeming aid of Timber Valuations from Gordon Smith.

"6) The report, released by U.S. Sen. Gordon Smith, R-Ore., placed the value of the timber that could be legally and profitably cut immediately after the fire at about $171.8 million. It said about $32.3 million of that has been recovered to date. The report said information “shows clearly that 42 percent of the volume per acre has been lost since late 2002,” largely from decay."

The above Timber "Valuation" report seemed to help the Timber REIT's that Obsidian Finance Group was involved in selling. And possibly made them MILLIONS, in my estimation.

WOW, Feb 2011, AFTER the Obsidian Finance Group LLC vs. Blogger Crystal Cox was filed. A blogger exposing the Portland Elite Law Firms, Judges and Dept. of Justice Trustee and connected to the business dealings and reports of Senator Gordon Smith and Ron Wyden?

Gordon Smith and Ron Wyden have been working on getting Judge Hernandez in for quite awhile. SO what changed AFTER Obsidian V. Cox was filed.
http://www.judiciary.senate.gov/hearings/testimony.cfm?id=e655f9e2809e5476862f735da1649e24&wit_id=e655f9e2809e5476862f735da1649e24-0-2
Remember Ron Wyden seems to be heavily supported by Oregon Multi-Millionaire Bill Smith, owner of William Smith Properties in Bend Oregon, whom recommended Obsidian Finance Group to the Summit Principals. (Michael Simon heavily praised as well)
http://www.usdchs.org/userfiles/fall%20benchmarks%202011%20final.pdf
Michael Simon, Ann Aiken, Judge Hernandes
(Ann Aiken is said to be in bed with the alleged "Corrupt" as well, more on that later)
Also this Quote from the Above Link
"Senator Wyden came to know Michael Simon as a busy and well-respected trial attorney at
Perkins Coie a.."
http://www.usdchs.org/userfiles/fall%20benchmarks%202011%20final.pdf
See folks it was Steven Hedberg of Perkins Coie who was the Attorney for the Creditors Committee in the Summit 1031 Bankrupcy.
Steven Hedberg used to work at Miller Nash, under Kevin Padrick, now of Obsidian Finance Group. Steven Hedberg of Perkins Coie has the most liability in the Summit 1031 Bankruptcy Scandal, as his getting Kevin Padrick the Trustee Job and alleged paycheck of around 6.5 Million, this was a conflict of interest that cost the Creditors Millions and Steven Hedberg of Perkins Coie not only let this happen but it seems that Steven Hedberg of Perkins Coie used his connections to create the whole situation.
So Perkins Coie has a lot at stake in shutting up Blogger Crystal Cox who is exposing the role of Steven Hedberg of Perkins Coie in the Summit 1031 Bankruptcy. And Perkins Coie even gave Judge Marco Hernandez a Luncheon after he was swore into office, which was AFTER Obsidian V. Cox was filed. ( Click Here - you will note the Perkins Coie Link is down, I have it somewhere, as I filed it with the courts to prove Hernandez was connected to Perkins Coie whom I was exposing. )
Also Note that records show Bill Smith of William Smith Properties to be a huge campaign supporter of Ron Wyden, and he recommended Obsidian Finance Group to the Summit Principals.

At Obsidian V. Cox, Kevin Padrick downplayed this Question, thing is, it proves Pattern and History. Charging too much, taking advantage of the Debtor, getting the Debtors Assets for Obsidian Finance Group's gain, conflicts of interest, non-disclosure and more.
Here is where I asked Kevin Padrick
"Q. Have you been accused of anything similar to what I write about in any other legal cases, such as the
Cascadia case?
A. Tax fraud? No.
Q. I did not accuse you of tax fraud. I asked you a question. I'm talking about deferred gains, conflict of
interest, issues regarding a bankruptcy proceeding. Have you ever been accused by any other federal court?
A. No. We have been -- we have had -- in the Cascadia case, there was a -- the Court said that a portion of our fees would not be allowed due to a conflict of interest occurring on a certain date. Fees were allowed prior to that, but not after then.
It had nothing to do -- it was a technical issue. The creditors actually wrote a paper in support -- the
actual creditors of the case actually wrote a paper in support of our position."
It was not a "technical" issue, it was the fact that Kevin Padrick took advantage of clients in distress to make a good deal for Obsidian, and they now own part of Yarrowbay over it all. It is about undisclosed conflicts of interest, read this opinion, look into the story. I am not the reason for Kevin's bad reputation, he is. ( Click Here for the Homestreet Bank / Cascadia Case) ."

He talked of a Support Letter from Creditors, thing is that does not make it right. Creditors wanted paid and if Obsidian Finance Group was going to take advantage of the Debtors, in a way that paid the Creditors something, I am sure they were pleased. Still the Merits of the Objection seem to hold true.
